Actually, no. Harakou pointed out that they often check the gender field so they can use the right pronouns for a Scratcher, and that it would be useful for them. It might only be visible to Scratch Team members, but I'd feel pretty uncomfortable if an ST member used the wrong pronouns when referring to me. No support. This is something that is only used for statistical purposes, nothing else. It would have some advantages, but it's really not absolutely necessary. The Scratch Team should instead focus on implementing other suggestions.
No offence, but could we please stop saying that the account gender is only used for statistics? We already have proof that that's not true, and it's already been said here many times, so saying it is technically unconstructive.
