haha not at all! I actually preferred it if you have asked it here in the first place, since we have these convient scratch blocks here.
So I was saying: the variable themselves dont have any interaction with other blocks unless you put them onto the script. You havent connect the start sound with the variable, so only the variable changes and it does nothing to the start sound block. To fix it, you should drag the “snare drum option” variable (not the one with#) on top of the start sound block, so it looks a bit like this:
when green flag clicked
forever
if <key [left arrow v] pressed?> then
play sound (Snare_drum_option)
wait (13) secs
end
end
