It's not completely my idea, but since others wanted a
stop [spritex v] :: stack
command and I thought that that's not really precise, my suggestion is a way to give script blocks a name, like this
when green flag clicked - Script name: myscript :: hat :: events
...
forever
...
end
so you can set the script name by right-clicking on the hat (by default it has no name) and then you can use:
stop script[myscript v] :: control
to stop the specific script.

I personally don't like the idea of stopping scripts, but other people do.

I support because stopping scripts is useful. I think it's weird that you can stop all scripts from a sprite but not individual scripts.

Yes, it could be useful to stop a script when an event occurs.

*bump*

Interesting concept. This would be nice, actually, an old version of Scratch (0.3) had this feature where scripts were named (at least I think). I can show you a screenshot here:

Haha, funny! That's most likely what my version of scratch for an ESP32 with VGA will look like in the beginning!

Yes, that's what I mean, more or less, but it should be available for every hat block.

? What's so funny? I actually don't get it.

The scratch screenshot! It looks like something someone has drawn on a sheet of paper as a concept!

Oh it does. Welp, Scratch was very simple. Here's 0.1:

Yeah because it was a concept. .-.

I … can't see anything. It's not a picture, rather a thumbnail. And not a thumbnail like I have them.

Here's a larger version then

Yes. Support in that case as it would make stopping scripts way easier. Maybe add a feature where you can right-click and rename? Sill though nice concept

Okay. So that's the idea behind this all. Maybe there could also be a block like
Start script [myscript v] :: events
so you have something like
broadcast [myscript v]
when I receive [myscript v]
. It's more or less like a class and an ID in CSS. And a script name must be unique, yes?
